So began their story of creating clothes, spreading peace and love through design they would wear their heart on their sleeve and remind the world that the happy ending is in all of us if we look hard enough.

Lyla Black was born in 2006 when partners Renae Hollingworth and Mark Holcombe decided to create their own diverse range of luxury leather handbags. The vision was to design a range to compliment a woman’s individuality and personal style.

With a favorable response from select boutiques around Melbourne the label was officially launched and Lyla Black set out to develop the label which saw the introduction of shoes, belts and soft lamb skin jackets to their collection.

Passionate about her product, Renae designs pieces with a seamless blend of contradiction yet amalgamating classic styles with a touch of bohemian chic or playful glamour. Drawing on her inspiration from her eclectic group of friends, family and love of fashion in all its forms, the ranges differ from season to season but always keep true to the vision
